Taxi to the Dark Side

Saw the movie Taxi To the Dark Side tonight. It's a very well done documentary about the most disgraceful policies to come from Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Yoo. It uses the case of one Afghani taxi driver to illustrate the torture policies and practices of Bush and his most senior officials. Be careful watching it though. It's rated R for good reason, but then how could a documentary on torture be rated anything less.

There is hope on this topic. Obama has said that as president he would ask his new Attorney General and his deputies to "immediately review the information that's already there" and that "nobody is above the law."

This would be a good start in improving America's reputation.
